Bush Buddies is a monthly snail-mail subscription where your child receives a letter from a new Aussie animal friend. Each envelope includes a story-style letter, fun facts, and activities to spark curiosity. You’ll also get a QR code for bonus printables you can download at home.

We recommend Bush Buddies for kids aged 4–9. Younger children love the excitement of receiving their own mail, while older kids enjoy reading the letters themselves and diving deeper into the activities.

No special shopping trips required — we keep things simple. Most activities use everyday items you’ll already have around the house, like pencils, paper, or things you can find in the backyard.

Past Adventures are available to purchase, however if you want current or future months mail then you will need to subscribe to the mail club.

Subscriptions are billed monthly on the date you signed up. You’ll always know exactly what you’re paying — no surprises here. You just need to make sure you have signed up before the cutoff date of 20th in order to get that month's Bush Buddy Mail, otherwise your subscription will roll over to the following month's mail.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship internationally, however you will need to pay a small additional shipping fee ($3.50 AUD) to cover the cost of international postage.

Letters are posted on the last business day of each month. Delivery times vary depending on where you live, but most kids will have their Bush Buddy waiting in the letterbox within a week (within Australia), overseas times will vary by country.

One subscription works fine if your kids are happy to share!

For 'The Collector' Bush buddy subscription we recommend each child having their own as they can then collect their own stamps, curio cards and each get a mystery item each month, however this is entirely up to you.
